Professional AC Installation in Sherman

When a central Illinois summer settles over Sherman, a reliable, efficient air conditioner isn't a luxury. A failing or outdated unit struggles to keep up, leading to uncomfortable rooms, rising energy bills, and the constant worry of a breakdown. A new air conditioner is a significant investment, and the quality of the installation matters as much as the unit itself. A professional installation helps your system run efficiently from day one and last longer.

Allied Plumbing, Heating & Cooling installs air conditioning for Sherman homeowners. We size and select a system for your home and install it to local building codes and the manufacturer's specifications. Installs come with free estimates.

Choosing the Right Air Conditioning System

The best choice depends on the size and layout of your home, your existing ductwork, and your budget. We'll walk you through the options.

Central Air Conditioning

Ideal for homes with existing ductwork, central AC provides consistent whole-home cooling. An outdoor condenser works with an indoor coil and air handler or furnace, and conditioned air is distributed through your ducts. Modern central air conditioners are considerably more efficient than older models, with higher SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings that translate into lower utility bills.

Ductless Mini-Split Systems

If your home lacks ductwork, or you want zoned cooling for an addition, home office, or converted garage, a ductless mini-split is an excellent option. A slim outdoor unit connects to one or more indoor units mounted on walls or ceilings, each controlled independently so you aren't cooling empty rooms. Learn more about mini-split installation.
